Originating from Northwestern Nigeria and active since 2018, Lakurawa has been increasing violence against civilians, using Tahoua as a rear base. Unclaimed terrorist attacks are also intensifying in the regions of Tillab\u00e9ri, Dosso, and Diffa<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Facing this growing threat, the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) are multiplying their operations (arrests of suspected terrorists in Tahoua, Agadez, and Maradi). However, without a coordinated response in cross-border areas, it remains difficult to contain the terrorist expansion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
